- Pietro Gaietto was born in Genoa, Italy in 1937. He is well known internationally as the founder and director of the Museum of the Origins of Man online (www.museoorigini.it). P.Gaietto has written some books on prehistoric art with intersting hypothesis about the evolution of man and of the primeval expressions of art. He was the director for one year of the international magazine Primeval Sculpture, founded after a Congress hold by himself about Paleolithic stone Art. Other titles by P. Gaietto include: L'Arte Vergine, 1974, C.S.I.O.A., Genoa; Prescultura e Scultura preistorica, Presculpture and prehistorical sculpture, 1982, E.R.G.A., Genoa, and others works on prehistoric man and his art.
